Water leak detection and siphon replacement in Khatai
Finding a hidden leak that was soaking bathroom furniture in Khatai district, replacing the worn siphon and sealing the connections.
A customer from Khatai district reported that the cabinet under the bathroom sink was constantly damp and a bad smell had appeared. The source of the water was not visible, so a specialist was called to locate the leak precisely.
The specialist first checked the connections with the tap open and closed. The leak appeared only when water was draining — meaning the problem was on the drain side, not the pressure line. The inspection revealed a crack in the siphon body and a worn gasket in the coupling nut; the concealed joint by the wall also showed condensation.
The old siphon was fully removed, a new one installed, all gaskets replaced and the connections sealed. The joint by the wall was reassembled and leak-tested: with water draining continuously for 15 minutes, every point stayed dry.
