Refrigerator repair in Sabail: NoFrost system failure
Diagnostics of a NoFrost fault weakening the cooling in Sabail district: defrost heater replacement and fan check.
A customer from Sabail district reported that the lower section of their two-compartment refrigerator worked normally, while the upper fridge compartment cooled poorly. An intermittent noise came from behind the rear panel. A technician was scheduled for the next morning.
During diagnostics, a thick layer of ice was found under the rear panel of the freezer compartment — a classic sign of a failed defrost cycle in a NoFrost system. A multimeter check showed the defrost heater had burnt out; the fan and thermostat were working.
The ice was safely melted, the burnt-out defrost heater was replaced with a new one matching the model, and the defrost sensor was replaced preventively. After reassembling the panel, the refrigerator was started, and it was agreed with the customer to monitor both compartments' temperature for 24 hours.
