During the detailed diagnosis, it was found that the voltage supplied from the power board to the LED backlight system became unstable after the television warmed up. The operating values of one of the components on the power board changed as the temperature increased. As a result, the power supplied to the LED backlight was no longer stable, causing the screen brightness to increase and decrease at short intervals and creating a visible flickering effect.
During the TV repair, the television was disconnected from the power supply, and the faulty section of the power board was repaired. The TV technician replaced the unstable component and checked the related contact points and solder joints on the board. The LED driver output and backlight circuits were also tested separately. Since the LED strips, main board, and T-Con system were operating normally, these components did not need to be replaced.
After the repair was completed, the TV technician operated the television in an extended test mode. The screen brightness was checked at different levels, while Smart TV applications, television channels, and HDMI video were tested separately. Even after the television had fully warmed up, the screen no longer flickered, the brightness remained stable, and the previous picture fluctuations did not occur again.
